Hi Bob
I have downloaded the pdf file.
It is a large file and took me 3 mins on 40 meg boadband.
This is a quick review.
All measurements are imperial so have to be converted to metric and then rescaled to 1.86 from the 1.48 scale
You really require The Anatomy of Nelson's Ships by C.N. Longridge and John McKay's The 100-Gun Ship Victory to follow the instructions.
It also refers to the Mantua Models plans (13)which are on the download and can also be printed out.
I have read the copper plating chapter completely and wish I had read it before I plated my model.
He has an excellent method of producing the copper pin heads.
My first impression is that it is a good aid and will help with the Deag model which being more up to date than his original kit already has several of his enhancements on it.
Being a total newbie to ship modeling I feel sure that the download is worth the money because it will help to enhance what is already a very fine build.
I am happy with it and think it is good value for money.
My only dissapointment so far is that it does not cover the sails.
Hope this helps with your decision
