If you wish to clear coat the propellers once polished, you will need a clear metal primer, also those going for the overall bare metal finish will need a clear metal primer for such as the exhaust manifold to prevent it from tarnishing. Tamiya's 87061 clear metal primer is like rocking horse poo to find in the UK because next to no one imports it., an alternative is from MDC http://www.modeldesignco...0Metal%20Primer%20Spray
If you intend to paint your model throughout, a suitable grey metal primer will be required.

Found the tamiya clear primer on Ebay, if anyone's interested. Only problem, it is sent from Hong Kong. Tamiya Clear PrimerI smile because i have NO IDEA whats going on :)

You might find it is a very long delivery time becuase of having to be sent via ship rather than aircraft because of aerosol restrictions.
