Thanks Karl,

That's clear ;) I'll get some photo printer paper. What size are your tiles? From your dairy I gather that you painted them after fitting?

Thanks Gents!

A couple of more pics to show what I've been up to:

Where I sanded the hull back too much, some filler was required to smooth out the transition to the real keel

Hi all,

Belated blessed Christmas and happy new year to all of you. Managed to get in a good couple of hours on the Victory during the time that I was on leave.

So as not to overload you, I'll post day-by-day pics of my progress:

Thanks lads!

As promised, some more action:

Getting a curve on the gallery side panels. It wasn't exact, but close enough to need only minimal adjustment on final fitting.

Fitting the gallery side panels:

I got cracking with planking the bow deck while the gallery side panels were curing. I didn't have a non-running marker, so I used a pencil to mark the edges of the planks

Top mouldings added to the gallery sides:

The middle starboard wale pinned:

Bottom view of the Gallery sides and the rear of the middle wales. There is a slight gap which I'll be filling with wood filler:

The planks on the bow sanded down. I cut the opening of the dummy bowsprit dowel with a knife before sanding it, on the picture you can see that it was cut back too much. The middle 2 planks have since been replaced and the hole shaped properly

I was under the impression that one had to wait until the trim strips have been fitted to the stem?
