Hi Del-Boy,
Welcome to the mad house.
All i can say to you is read the instructions more than once, and look at Mr Ts advice, and yes anyone can build the VICTORY if you have the patience, if it gets to much for you walk away from it and pick it up a couple of hours later, but most of all enjoy it and by thje way it's not a race Good luck.

Hi Del Boy

Welcome aboard.

I am in the same situation as yourself. Only ever built plastic kits before now, but I have decided to bite the built and subscribe. I received issues 1&2 yesterday and I can't wait to get started, but I am going to hold off for now until I get more issues. This will also enable me to collect what tools I need for the build and to make my dry dock.

Like Glen says, read and read again, and especially read Mr T's official build and then other build logs. There is a wealth of information to be had from these top guys and their builds.

Can't add much more to what has already been said...So, welcome aboard Del_Boy, it is a great build, the best that I have come across so far? Take your time, perhaps wait until you have received the parts for the full false keel...I know that means that its a waiting game, but by that time, you can dry fit it all together and see the shape of the main hull...The Victory's 34ft Launch will appear about issue 6, that will keep you busy while you wait for you issues...Hope that you enjoy your build as much as our fellow shipmates have...Good luck mate..
