hi anybody else havin the same problem with the front of the cabin linin up with the gun port ive checked the measurements of the gun ports all ok and the cabin seems to be in the rite place ive now moved the cabin back to allow sum room for the gun nick

I've got one side with the gunport about 4mm from the cabin but other side about 2mm, so I can probably modify gun carriage to get a fit, you dont seem to have any space at all. To avoid damage caused by moving cabin I would move the gunport slightly by cutting out some of one side and filling the other. best of luck mate I think we've all had to some remedial work from time to time, it will look O.K. when painted.

Hi both. You can move back the cabin without effecting the build. part of the problem is the kit has the cabins to far forward (in my view) please se my build diary (first wooden ship build) for how I moved my cabins back.
