your colours look good but can i just say that the i think that the stern board may look better being planked horizontaly with thin strips of that out of scale decking that comes with some kits. i have seen close pictures of this on the replica ship. i purchased a hardback copy of hms surprise the complete story from amazon which supplies almost everything you want to know about this ship. yours is starting to look the part and i eagerly look forward to more of your built

I just bought some more Red Ochre, but it looks more brown then dull red???, any ideas any body.

The New Red Ochre that looks brown is on the right.

jokita do a range of admiralty paint suposed to be the actual paint used on the victory, might be worth a look at their web site

My New Colour scheme, hope you all like them, the first red ochre was a bit bright, as you can see on post #151, this one is a dull red ochre.

Star bored just needs a bit of a touch up, then it's Port side.

did you have any problems with the gunport placement robert, i think it was budgie that seemed to have a few problems, as there were some supports in the way which he had to cut.
