Ian,I hate to add more to your work but the gun carriage is incorrect as well,the wide part should be the breach end.

not according to issue 1.

i'm sure when i went on victory they were all straight anyway, that is the same thickness front and back, and the ones on victory did not have cut out lines along the sides. which tells me that it makes no difference which way you put the thick end, just as long as you keep them all the same on you own model

There was much discussion in the early days of the build,the gun carriage is wrong in the mag,there wouldnt have been deep cut lines down the sides,& should be wider at the breach.

hi guys
issue 1 shows the plank the way the cannon was made. all the follow on issues with cannons show the plank the opposite way.
i quess the superglue remover will be coming out.

Regarding rib 15 I found that the rib had to be lowered by filing the slot approx 1,5mm deeper. Check the deck support lugs are in line if they are, your solution is correct.

Hi all
just a quick update on my build so far.
Carronade completed with cut out slide groove.
The launch has been built up to issue 10 iwill post some pictures of the laucnch when completed.
The keel and ribs have been filleted and require a little more sanding down.
