setting the sails on the bounty with 1/32 brass rod inserted in to the outer seams bent to make her look like she in full wind

Yeah, I see what you mean Willie, very nice build in deed, looks like the Del Prado Bounty, I did one myself but gave it away because of lack of space...

the bounty with more of her sails with wire in it and i will be doing the victory looks better than flat sails still a lot of rigging on the bounty to do i'll get around to it some day

BigGrin Nice models Willie. In the first photo with the Hunter, how do you manage to get those needle files to hang horizontally - could it be the thrust from the prop ?? HaHa!! LOL LOL Flapper

hi guys ,thought you might want to look at a cheaoer version of the bounty. All the sails are hand stitched, my first attempt at full rig and they all work as well

I hope you'll forgive a newcomer for adding a comment however if you are going to make the sails appear to be full you need also to brace the yards over to larboard or starboard in order to prevent the foresails from being becalmed. This would show the model on a larboard or starboard tack which would look very impressive.

Having said that your model is superb.Drool
