BigGrinHi Andy,

I will be interested to see how it all turns out as I intend to do something similar with my eventual display ?? Should work well with 'Roofing Felt' as they reckon that if you drive an F1 car fast enough, the downfoce generated would be enough to make it possible to drive upside down along the ceiling if you could get it up there, so quite an appropriate material to use methinks !! LOL LOL

BigGrin Hi Andy,

I shall look forward to seeing the results. I think the coarseness of the surface grains on the roofing felt should be about right for the scale of the car to make a decent representation of tarmac and provided the colour that you spray it isn't too harsh it should look quite effective ?? I wouldn't advise just spraying it neat black as that would look too harsh, a very dark grey (like a graphite grey) would look better, with a few darker/blacker streaks to represent the laying down of rubber from wheelspinning off the line and with the added white box markings would look good maybe ?? Good stuff and a neat idea !!

If you reduce the file size of each photos then they will appear rather than a need to download to view.
