Can anyone clarify which gun doors are hinged at the top and which are split in two and hinged left and right?

Hi Allan, according to Anatomy Of A Ship (Victory) John Mckay, There is only 4 in total which are opening flaps, all the others are top hinged.

It means they are not gun ports.
The top one is for the timberheads and the cutout on the middle row is the entry doorway.
