hi rob, i think they look terrific and i am definately going to do mine same as.Painting would have taken out some detail but this stuff is awesome. Is it permanent or does it rub off to highlite detail of any discription and what is it called.

Love the danish oil you used on bottom of hull ian Cool

Hi thanks moriarty, after cleaning the brass cannon's (degreasing them etc) I dipped them in the Carr's solution for about 45 Seconds.

I then neutralised them in Water (think you should use the proper neutralizing solution though} let them dry and, All the cannon's you see are what they look like after I rubbed the soft residue off with my fingers lol, Could of used a tissue.

Blushing i used Krick blackener on mine but it took hours rather than seconds
Confused so do u mind me asking what is this Carrs blackener and where can you get it
i have seen Carrs products in Halfords but not blackener

It's A shame we have to Finnish off the cannons ourselves, Bras Wire in and Soldered and all Blackened, will have to paint the pins as there Not Bras,Cursing its not finished yet, going to finish this one then copy the rest off that one.LOL

Hi Tomick n thanks, yes it will run but I have not put a motor in, but you can put one in anytime.

The paint colour is, Apple Green, got it from the paint maker that supplied the newly built A1 Class Locomotive Tornado.
