Planking seems to be a problem area for many of us new to the hobby,

Can anyone recommend a good book or guide setting out how to approach planking?

The supplied instructions do not provide much detail

Hi ger. you are usually better sticking to the plan when you rig unless you really know what you are at. Once you have done a few you tend to get the drift on what everything does and why. If you want to go down the road of enhancing the rigging or just doing the right way have a look at this site and print off the diagrams as you scroll down. There are dozens of prints so be prepared. The site is www.all-model.com try and have a look at this and then if you want just buy a book to help. If you want some blinding little tips go on you tube and search for the build on hms snake.
