HMS Warrior would be a fantastic kit, in her time it was said that Warrior could catch and destroy an entire squadron of any other nation - those were the days! If we're still thinking of Portsmouth dioramas, how about a model of the Victory's (almost) nemesis HMS Neptune! First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1

I have been looking at the Billing Boats kit of this around £450 and it is huge. Just not doable in one hit, fingers crossed for a partwork. from all the interest in the Billing kit I recon this would be very very popular “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Hi All I visited this ship many years ago and she still holds a soft spot for me [I still have the Warrior booklet from the trip] , she was the perfect ship for her time stopped the French in there tracks with there agresive naval rearmament and never had to fire a shot in anger ,truely a ship to be ranked with the Hood as an international pacifyer at her time of launching. The kit looks like great improvement on the older Billings kits and it looks like a great deal of thought has been put into it, wait till you see the cast figurehead its amazing and looks like the real thing, there are turned brass parts and etch too so hence the asking price. Here's a link to some pics of the kit http://modelshipworld.co...topic/1139-hms-warrior/
All we need now is another kit maker to introduce a rival kit of equal worth to bring in a little competition Enjoy Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Billings have released one. I agree Warrior would be a very nice ship due to its historical importance. The Billing model is huge and does come with some very nice brass work I just hope they have improved on their normal parts standard. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Warrior would prove very popular I think and not just with a uk customer base. As already said by the others on this thread lets hope deagostini make this a part work option - I would go for it. Tony Happy Modelling
