Just wanted to say hello to everyone on here. I am new to the hobby of shipbuilding and have just orderd the HMS Surprise. I am building the sergal Thermopylae tea Clipper 1:124 Scale at the moment and putting the second layer of planking on and is my first ship. I am looking forward to building the surprise and enjoyed reading the builds on here. I hope i could call on your expertise sometimes if i get stuck. Best of regards to all on this forum. Mark

Hi mark ,I built that one a few years ago and found it too small for my hands. Built it anyway and it sat on a shelf above the stairs. The missus decided to redecorate and dropped it , caused a bit of considerable damage so i scrapped it and put all the useable parts into a scrap box HMS Surprise HMS Snake HMS Bounty HMS Royal Caroline HMS Victory rebuild HMS Supply
