Hi, i've just subscribed to the build and wanted to ask a couple of questions. I've had the welcoming e-mail on 10th February stating the first issues would be with me in 14 days, but up to today in My subscriptions there is no details of my account being charged or delivery date. Did i read on the forum that it could take up to 28 days for the first issue to arrive,or is there a problem? Also i have purchased the Victory paint set and copper plating.I've been charged for these on 13th February and was wondering how long the delivery takes to arrive? Thanks for any answers Mal.

Hi Max and welcome to the forum, i found the 1st issue takes about 28 days to get to you then you should recieve all issues after that around the same date. Any moneys owed per issue is usaly withdrawn after you recieve that months issue, if your doing D/D theres is usaly a date specified on the letter in the pack when it arives.Hope this helps regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Yes that helps alot. I thought i'd read about it being 28 days but couldn't find it. I have been viewing the forum since the first issue. Bought the first six issues in WHSmiths and was going to get the build from them but they put me off by saying i had to open a subscription box for £40.00 and it would be better subscribing from DeAgostini. Never did. But after all this time i have now subscribed. Thanks for the quick replies. Mal.

Thanks Darron, I thought i would get your jig built while i was waiting for the parts to come. The angle brackets you used were much more substantial than the ones i used on my first jig and it introduced me to the art; ( or lack of it; by me ) in routing. Mal.

Good find saintsman. Quite tempting. I have just subscribed, so i don't know how DeAgostini would be if i cancelled No1. and asked to start at 40. What i liked about it is i would be a third into the build. Never mind. I have taken so long to decide about subscribing that i may just stick with the subscription order. Thanks anyway. Mal.

Hi jonny7england, Thanks for the welcome. Yes i will enjoy the build. I'm waiting for the paint set at the moment so i can start on a 12 pounder and carronade that i've got from when i had the first few issues. It will be a bit slow for the first couple of months, until the 4 issues start in the third month. ( I stopped at No.6 ). I am going to the Ellesmere Port model boat show next weekend so may pick up more tools and paint. Mal.
