The Princess Margaret and Princess Anne SRN4 MK3 Hovercraft are the last two surviving examples of the worlds largest commercial Hovercraft.

They ceased from cross-Channel services on 1 October 2000.

Currently they are housed at the Hovercraft Museum which is facing closure or relocation.
The future of these vessels is uncertain, as they are privately owned and are possibly up for sale. Unfortunately they have been left to neglect and are now in danger of passing beyond help.

We will not see their like again, and it is now hoped that one or both are taken into public ownership and restored for future generations to enjoy.

I bet Richard Branson could make profitable use of them.
