Can anyone suggest or recommend a good rotary tool to buy? I know Dremel is considered probably among the best but i was hoping that you guys could suggest a cheaper model. And of course, where to buy it from lol.

Machine MartThis is the one I bought and I am really pleased with it although I believe there are cheaper versions on the market. John

Hi Weareborg i got theses two from maplins made by Everise around £25 for the drill kit and £20 for the accesories, its no good for smaller than 1 mill [i have a smaller dremel sized 1 for small stuff] drills but does everything else without a problem regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I have looked at both of those and was wondering if you have any issues with them. I have read the reviews on them both and ok, I don't always go with what some people post on them, but they didn't exactly read very well.

have a look in aldi/lidl, they have some good cheap tools on occasion, they rotary tool i got there came with a 3 year guarantee. the only thing is you have to see what you need at the right time as they are not always in stock Come on you Jimmies
