Hi All, Dont know if this has already been covered, But are De Ago supplying a nice Display Stand or is it something we have to sort out ourselves ????

A display stand will be offered for customers to purchase towards the end of the series.
The stand will be available to buy in the online shop and via a magazine insert. No price or image as yet, but it's availability is anticipated April/May

Oh come on, the display stand was never mentioned or show in any of the advertising material. You'll be wanting a maid to come round and dust it next!
Now the copper tiling, that's a different matter.

Possibly it was to show the finished model with the tiling option.

I don't recall it being advertised as an option at that time. Perhaps I missed it, do you know where it said that?

I wish the optional maid would deliver my copper tiles.  . 26 days and counting since they took payement. Don't mind the waiting, it's the wondering if you are going to get the delivery or not. Don't mind paying for a display stand to finish it off. How many wooden model ships are supplied with one ? You've got a ship that has cost a bit so you need a proper stand made for it to be cradled in. Mal.

Ah, I did indeed, should be grateful we're getting the mast, sails and the rigging I guess.
Creative use of the word 'vary' though when it means 'not included'.

Hi Russ, i was just reading your post; when i turned my head to look at the Sherbourne; and what was it sitting on but a display stand. Not a finished one , but a display stand none the less. I have got wood stain and varnish sitting above my head, but i always though about getting the Amati base with columns to finish it off. I think that was what i was thinking of, or a proper finished stand. not one i had to complete. Mal.

We do offer a working stand as part of the series, but as we've also had a lot of requests about a display stand we are currently in the process of manufacturing one. However as the series has already been confirmed as 120 issues we have had to offer it as an extra
