£50 million!!!!! would it not have been cheaper to build one from scratch? Don't get me wrong, I think it's a work of art and something that should be preserved but like everything in this country costs so much!! the Japanese could have done it for £10 million and probably built one for themselves too!

You do have to wonder when most of it was destroyed in the fire, and therefore the majority of it is not now the original wood/ship, but then again you could say much the same about Victory, where a great deal of the ship is not original.

Plus I think a lot of the money is for other cosmetics like the museum part etc... A full scale part build would have been cheaper lol
