mainmast chain wales diagram issue 75 Options

has anyone noticed the differance between the upper main mast chain wale diagram to the lower one (the one with the dead eyes attached) if so which one is correct as the slots dont line up. thanks' may you lead line never touch bottom

not sure which pictures you mean, but don't forget that the chainwales are a mirror image of each other they are not identical

if you get a chain wale match it up with top diagram then draw it down to the one with deadeyes on they dont match

think you'll find that one pic is port an 'tother is starboard.

so i take that the one on the bottom, the bow is on the right i understand the mirror image not reverse image

You are dead right Vindiboy,
the diagram can be confusing, normally a plan view is under a side view, but in this case it's not?
I mentioned this a few weeks ago when I was at that stage, I tend not to put 100% faith in either plans or instructions as errors have on occasion been made, just double check everything from photo's or Tomick's instructions.
