Hi Group.. I thought I would up load a new pick of my Victory build, progression is slow at the moment due to work. I look in all the time but have very little time to chat, it is good to see all the new development on the site. Lots of information flow in all the builds. Hi Ian! I'm sorry to say that you have a problem with your bowsprit! your Jack Staff & Dolphin Striker are not vertical but are at right angles to the bowsprit itself. I think in issue 88 you set the cap as shown in set 10 but you didn't angle the holes in the bowsprit cap as shown in step 12 so that when the bowsprit is in place the front face would be vertical as shown in step 13. This would mean that as the cap isn't vertical when in place the jack staff & dolphin striker will also not be vertical. Take another look at issue 88 and the plan to see how it should be, I'm very sorry mate! but this will need to be sorted before you start rigging. Darron

ian, darron is right, mine were the same as yours but i've now got them running vertically, i think its because we work on the bowsprit off ship, so it looks ok like that, but when fitted to the ship the angle is wrong. it's easily remedied. Come on you Jimmies
