I'd like to mention a couple of points for the improvements 1. to the instructions, and 2.numbering of parts. whilst having a go at assembling the suspension,the mag instructions are next to useless for the tiny parts supplied.why can't the sprues be numbered like all other plastic kits,if it hadn't been for our holy one (mr.t.)and showing close up pics. of the parts I would have been lost.if the mag.and sprues were numbered we would sail on.de-ag and admin can you please note.theirs gonna be a lot of cussin' coming up in the future.we are talk 'bout the f1 maclaren by the way. i know your a pro and dont wish to tell you how to but if you know how f1 cars work your half way there as you will know what parts what otherwise why not take your time im a beginner and followed the mag took my time and no problem so far

Karl....are we talking about all the silvery bits ie spring, damper and torsion rods ? 41 - 43 if so thanks for the heads up.

thanks for the lesson firefighter,yes I do know how an f1 car works,you fill it up with petrol and put foot on the throttle,and hopefully off you go. but when you have 12 pieces 5mm.high and they all look similar I start to struggle,and having to use magnifying glasses,numbers would have been helpful. compared to the DB5 magazine instructions i have to say the mclaren magazine instructions are way better. Plus no manual will be best suited to everyone as we all work and learn differently.

Yes I agree with Karl.Been building models for years and was a bit baffled with the silver bits and with some screw types.Part 43 supplies type c screws x5 but states that type e screws are used in assembly in part 44 page 14 stage 1.Confused.com.Took it as a typo and used the type c.

If you had looked/read my diary build for 44 you would see I noted the very point about screw type at stage 1

well i will have to put my hands up karl started doing my little bits and i agree they are not easy then found 1 bit was broke so now having to wait for a replacement so i can carry on

Issue 43 - small bits all ok - well almost, as bXXXXy fiddly; got to the last bit; torsion bar crank bracket, "clip on it says" wish I had smaller fingers as at the minute finding it impossible (any hints) and have now broken the long pin!!!!! Hopefully may be able to rescue it, but not holding my breath, so looks like I am now looking for a replacement.

I noticed that too! I thought I had run out of screws first  ....and Type 'C' would have been way too big! All good now!
