Guys good news, Was 'tweeting' modelspace last night on twitter and, we will know very soon if the UK will get the MP4/4! Not only that, but it will be available at the end of the year if it gets the go ahead! Come on you Japanese, blow the trial period out the water so we can have this model!! 'If' it gets the go ahead, and even then, there is no guarantee that it will appear in the UK

Yeah, I understand. Can you answer me this, why spend X amount of money on developing the parts to not release it? I thought if they'd paid for the development of the parts, surely they want to recoup this money at least and sell the product? Or am I off the mark there? Building the McLaren MP4-23

In an ideal world yes, however its a very long and complex process which is very costly, and not just a case of development and then rolling it out across the world. There are all sorts of other factors involved such as licensing within each country, where it may not be possible to move an item into a country because of this, ultimately the all powerful likes of McLaren dictate what you can and can't do.

You make a valid point, Licensing is a major one. Well, I don't know who runs the ModelSpace Twitter account, but They've given me hope, Thats all I needed Building the McLaren MP4-23
