Hi Perksy, welcome to the forum . Is that little model shop still at the raiway station in Melbourne. They were really helpful to me when I was on holiday there in 2001, spent a small fortune in there and had to get most of it shipped back to the uk.BigGrin

You will do fine and will love every minute of time spent on it.

What I find best of all it frees my mine totally away from all work related problems.

Best hobby I tried. and hopefully new friend on here will make it even more enjoyable.

Second build for me, almost finished the HMS Endeavour.

take a look at my build of the launch just click on under my ugly mug on upgraded victory launch build.several examples,I reduced the planks width by half,and found that easier.
Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory
Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat.
