Admin Please advise if we need to order replacement parts and what issue's to order. Since we have had no reply for a while and people are now starting to re-order replacement parts, I'm now at a loss on what to do either paint or wait. Need some more conformation on what is likely to happen.

I don't really want to paint as its not a true fix, but also I dont want to be told if I leave it long enough that you won't replace all the parts required front and rear wing or dont have stock. Like most My model is at a stand still until we have the fix. Just had another 4 weeks of parts and there stacking up fast

I can only reiterate that DeAgostini and Kyosho are working on this.

I'm happy with the finish. Forgive the naff picture - cheapo camera.
The wing is now very smooth and glossy although the pic doesn't show it well.
I want red side pods!!!!!!

The more people except the replacement parts the less likely were to get a proper solution, Can't see them sending a few hundred of replacements then sending them again if and when they pull there finger out with the proper fix,

I say Boycott the shoddy fix and wait ???

Hey guys, been off the radar for a bit but still coming along with my build

Now i'm back on here and read a couple of the pages, I've checked my kit and it is the same issue you all apear to be having

My problem is I'm not subscribed through Deag, I collect my issues weekly via my local news agent
How would I go about getting the replacement parts?
or am I stuffed!

Cursing Ok. So I tried to spray my front wing components last night and was unhappy with the result after 3 coats, decided to give 1 last coat and the damn spray splattered the components. These are now completely ruined. Came to work this morning and tried to phone the number admin gave out for replacements and I got SORRY THIS NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN RECOGNISED. I have just got off the phone with Deagostini after 30 minutes of trying to explain to customer services about the problem and they agreed to send me issue 1 again. Who knows what I will get through the post if anything. I was keeping very calm about this matter but now I am absolutely livid about the whole thing.

Sorry, that was 20 minutes not 30. It probably would have been cheaper for me to just buy another issue 1 on line due to the phone chargesLOL .

Hmmm, when I eventually got through and asked for the replacement issues I read the email from admin to the girl, that indicated issues 1, 2, 3 and 4 would be replaced

Had a phone call OhMyGod afterwards from customer service girl that I had previously spoken to saying that I had not started my subscription from issue 1 Confused; told her that it was purchased in shop and subscription started at issue 2. She hung upCrying .

Anyway parcel arrived with issues 2,3 and 5RollEyes so I now have a spare tyre!

Won't be bothering with another phone call just yet.

I really don't know what the furore is about, you've all been told that deag are investigating the solution,so why not just wait and see.

It doesn't take this long to issue a recall, they have not even acknowledge the fix does not work, so half the people are trying to get replacement part that make no difference, and customer services are still trying to worm out of sending replacements, Can't believe they hung up its totally unacceptable why does it matter if you subcribe or not, the parts are faulty..

Is this how they treat there paying customer. I just want someone to admit the fix is rubbish and there looking into another solution then I'll stop and wait. But there happy to sweep this away mark my words !!!!

My replacments arrived today 1,2,3,5 but as all ready said the red wing parts are still the same colour so as karl said we may aswell wait until they fix it properly, I cant see why they are still sending the parts out if there is no difference its just a wast of timeConfused

I've already said this several times.......
I'm betting pretty firmly that Kyosho will NOT fix this problem.
(DeAg DON'T make this kit!!!!)
They sold God knows how many thousand in Japan before we even SAW the kit. They didn't fix the problem then, so what on earth makes anyone think they even CARE what a few dozen people on a forum think????
Do you really suppose Kyosho (who are WORLD FAMOUS for AWFUL customer support - try even FINDING an e-mail address for them!) are going to spend potentially VAST sums of money modifying an 18 month old kit, just to satisfy a few people here?
They will save FAR more money even if a few people demand a full refund.
Do you really think they will care in the slightest?
I'm NOT being defeatist.
I'm being REALISTIC.
The fact there's getting on for 1,200 messages here going back MONTHS says it all.
Also, the Deag 'fix' is being offered, as DeAg can back it up - they can supply spare parts. They CAN'T supply 'correct' parts because Kyosho won't supply them!
To fix this problem, there's the old maxim:
DO IT YOURSELF, and END this obviously POINTLESS thread!!!

Roy.

Yeti-Man, since the initial fix suggestion, Admin have posted the following message:

"We are waiting on feedback from Kyosho the manufacturer, and will be in touch as soon as we have a response. We do appreciate how frustrating this is for you, please do bear with us, so we can find you a solution for this issue that everyone is happy with.
Thanks
"

Just to reiterate, they are seeking a solution to this issue that everyone is happy with.

Whilst I apreciate your frustrations, can I ask that you mind your language.

Thanks
