As above have just emailed customer services for a replacement as the one delivered today has a badly bent corner. Don't really know why these binder are not protected better ie a thick card to protect them. I know they are expensive but I consider they are all part of the kit.

the first binder i received had the internal plastic tabs broken halfway across the top one i haven botherd replacing as yet because they hold 20 in each and 85 issues means the fith binder will only need to hold 5 and i can get eight in it but going back to your comment i second it that they should have some form of protection for shipping perposes maybe just some plastic or cardboad angles just to protect the corners

Quote: just some plastic or cardboad angles just to protect the corners Now there's an idea. But, having it rammed through a letter box doesn't help.

I have two subscriptions and both my binders have arrived in very bad condition. I was thinking the same about better packaging. I think the same about the monthly deliveries. Luckily no parts have arrived damaged but I am not impressed with the condition the magazines arrive in. Most look like my dog has had them before me, and I collect mine from my local sorting office. I hate to think what they would arrive like if I had them delivered.

I wouldn't go holding your breath for this. I had the same issue last September, mailed DeAg about it (I have no inclination to be kept hanging on a telephone line at my expense) and I didn't even get any acknowledgement from the email let alone a replacement binder. Mine isn't a creased corner either, the crease runs diagonally across the front and back cover, you can't fail to see it. I love the model, I like the magazines but DeAgostini customer services are the absolute pits. I hear rumours that Senna's McLaren may possibly make an appearance as a model. If it's a DeAgostini partwork, I won't be bothering, no matter how much I want to build it. For companies like this and in times of problems, you cannot survive on product alone, your customer services must delight your customers, or they won't be your customers for long....

I TOTALLY agree. I'm VERY tempted by Senna's McLaren, but I DON'T want 'scruffy' magazines again, and I DON'T want more McLaren history, or 85-odd weeks all about Senna!!! Give us a DECENT F1 'history' mag! Regarding the magazines, they arrive looking second hand. Creased, bent, dog-eared. If they were in a newsagents like this, nobody would buy them. I have to 'straighten' and 'flatten' almost every mag. DeAg..... PUT A SHEET OF STRENGTHENING CARD IN THE PACKAGE!!!!!
Roy.

I cancelled my binders after the first one, once i start to build and its finished the magazines are going to get recycled. As for the SENNA model i would welcome it, also if you want f1 history theres plenty on the internet don't you think?? MeffMan

My point though, is that the kit is DEFINITELY going to come with a weekly mag etc (if we get it) - I just don't want somewhere around 700 pages all about Senna, or MORE McLaren history. As the car is an F1 car, the only other option is a mag about F1 in general. I must admit I agree about the mags though. I wonder how many sets will start appearing at car boot sales or even on Ebee for peanuts when the kit is complete? Roy.
