Hi Mr T,

It's a shame that's it's being scrapped, but I can imagine that the reason they couldn't find a museum was because they were charging too much. They should have just donated it for free and paid for its birth, it wouldn't have cost them much. Considering this years budget for the US armed forces is something in the order of $1Trillion dollars plus ( and this figure excludes the black ops budget) they could have found the money. BigGrin

Museums won't be bidding because of the stipluation that the buyer must to scrap it.
Its likely they don't want to see it falling into the wrong hands or if on display, unwelcome visitors getting a first-hand view.
