Hi shipmates
In issue 75 - page 12 - 'Preparing the chainwales', the templates show the drilling points for the eyebolts by yellow dots.
There are also a series of white dots close to the deadeye slots but the magazine makes no mention of these.
Can anyone tell me what purpose these serve or if they need drilling please.
Happy building
David

Step 3 says the white circles indicate holes for the chainwale supports, and therefore should also be drilled with a 0.7mm bit, which is to suit the pin-nails which are later be inserted to secure the chainwale supports.

Thanks Tomick,
I must be going blind in my old age, but do you know that I read and re-read those instructions but couldn't see it - now you've pointed it out, I can see it like a flashing light - I can't miss itBigGrin
Sounds ridiculous doesn't it, but it just stresses the importance of reading the instructions slowly and carefully so that I don't skip anything and make myself look foolish on the forum with unnecessary postsBlushing .
Thanks again, happy building
David

Easy done David, I'm sure we've all overlooked the odd thing at one time or another..
