Not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but here goes.

I have some 0.6mm thick, Burmese teak veneer and i need to know what is the best way to apply it?

Which Glue to use, is there a special technique involved?

Any advice would be gratefully acceptedBlushing

Hi Smuggler, every one will have their own preffered choice such as contact adhesive I find this can be very difficult to remove residue from your planking.
I like to use PVA it does not stain, no toxic fumes and any surplus can be removed with water, and you have plenty of time to position your timberBigGrin I hope that helps youBigGrin Regards Mike

hi,I tend to use superglue gel, because it's thick(a bit like me)it is easily managed, you have time to fix it just so,provided you don't press it on,just slide it about until your sure of the posititioning, then PRESS DOWN,and it's stuck.just try it on scrap wood and see.

Hi Smuggler, sometimes super glue does not adhere well to untreated wood, you may have to use sanding sealer on the base planking first to seal it,BigGrin Regards Mike
