S2ksean wrote:Nice work on the victory. I see in one off the photos HMS hood as well how's that one going? Hi Sean. I've currently completed up to Issue 32 of the Hood, you can see my build log in the link on my signature, or if you just want pictures my photobucket album is here: http://smg.photobucket.c...v317/jinnai/HMS%20Hood/
I have a nice guy from the UK who started a subscription for me before it was available in Australia, so I'm miles ahead of most Aussies who have just picked this up. Due to distribution problems with Hachette though I'm missing issues 33 and 35, so I can't really finish the second planking or start on the brass work until they arrive (which should be next week, conveniently as I start my holidays). Cheers.

Hi Tony Thanks for the comments. :) I've been lurking here for a while whilst I was waiting for the Victory to come out in Australia. Multiple times I had considered trying to get someone to subscribe for me whilst it was in the UK, but I decided to wait after hearing rumours it was finally making it's way down here. I've been plenty busy with life and work lately so my build has stalled, but hoping to get back into building next weekend. I still have to fare the hull so I can start on planking. I don't really post on this forum as I unfortunately find it a lot less friendly than the other forum I'm more regular on.
