I received issues 61-64 today and noticed that the colour on the parts for issue 61&63 are different to issue 62&64. 62&64 are a darker red and looks like there is no lacquer on them 61&63 are a lighter red and has lacquer on them and looks more shinny.
Why aren't kyosho using the same paint and methods to paint the model.

Have you taken them out of all the plastic wrapping ?
Just had a look at mine and without removing all the plastic I cannot tell. Didn't want to remove all before fitting in case of damage

I have taken them out yes mate, in issue 64 the inner packaging was open aswell. The lacquer also looks badly sprayed like when you spray too much and it runs. I think I'll be asking for a replacement.

Just checked issues 61 - 64 and all of them are red gloss same as side pods that caused all the problems, i think you may have to get replacements. I really wish Deag would give us a solution to this so i can continue with my build. Please give us a clue which way the choice is going cause if its the wings i can continue with build.

I'm guessing that the 'easiest' fix for DeAg and Kyosho is to supply decals for the red parts of the wings to match the red on the body. Not ideal, but it wouldn't be too difficult to apply them to new wing panels and at least they would match. Probably cheaper than anything else. I'm sure we'll see......

Mine seem fine too. Although one of the little pins on top has broken off mine so i'll need to speak to Deag to get a replacement! Maybe they'll learn they need some better packaging!

Also this may of been discussed already but De Agostini call it world championship winning car. Well it isn't though is it really because where's the fins on the front of the nose. Why is our car different to the Jap version.

The "Dumbo" wings where added after the British GP and the Japanese version does not have these either.. If you have seen them on one of the kits from Japan it's because he made it himself to correspond with the Japanese GP

I would'nt accept that its like DeAg or Kyosho have opened the packaging and resprayed it, its also raised against the silver paint where as none of my other parts are.
