If only you could have had this brilliant idea two weeks ago when I was fiddling around trying to bend my wire around drill bits and using more than a few expletives trying to get this fiddly little job done
Well done there for another clever little work around, I'll bear this one in mind for my next build.

Hi Stefan...the Purpose of the dowel is to form the shape of the deadey, wrap the wire round it once, cross the wire then slip the deadeye in and finish the twist with pliers...
