Sorry to bring this up again but i feel i have been very patient and have given Deag plenty of time to sort the colour issue out and its time for an answer. My build is on hold until an answer or fix is given. To me its either replace parts or a full refund cause i am not prepared to spend £600+ on a cobbled together model that is not as advertised. This model is supposed to be fully licensed. Some people have gone with replacement front wing that has the same colour issue, which is not a solution to the problem. I need an answer soon as to what is going to be done or i want a full refund. Admin its time to step up and tell us whats going to happen. Look forward to your reply very, very soon.

The last time I commented on this I was shot down in flames but I have to agree, as were getting 'close' to completion now, and this colour issue first popped up about half way through the build around 15+ issues ago. Many of us are hoping the Senna McLaren will reach our shores but without a 'fix' on the current problem, there are a good few here who won't be signing up. Please Deag, with all respect, can we have an update or possibly some info as to what's happening???
Roy.

I must admit that i've tried to not get involved in the posts popping up since the original was closed off but i am getting fed up of not knowing what to do. I got the replacement parts (in original incorrect colour) but havve held onto them incase there is a better solution. Its becoming beyond a joke now. This could have been dealt with so much better and i would have expected much more from such a big company. I'm in serious doubt as to whether i would take out any more part works with Deag unless they can restore my faith in them!

When I ordered the replacement parts I was told they would get back to me via email about them. 2 weeks after that I hadn't hear from them so sent admin a pm. He told me that they wouldn't be sendin me any!! Apparently they were working on a different work around so would not be sendin me the parts. Now I'm getting seriously P'd off with being left in the dark. If like we were told and DeAg and Kyosho had met to discuss this weeks ago, why can't they tell us the outcome of the meeting? Even if they have no definite answer it's at least something to go by! I wonder what trading standards or even mclaren themselves would make of this?! If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!

I too would like an answer. I did order the replacement items but when I got them they were the exact dame as the ones I got in the first place, with no changes AT ALL. Please Deag, what IS going on here, and what ARE you going to do. There's more than a few miffed builders out there and in here and not resolving this issue WILL only result in you damaging your rep as a quality, reliable company and you just may lose customers through this......PERMANENTLY Current builds: McLaren MP4-23 1/8 Aston Martin DB5 1/8

i wish DeAg were as quick to answer the questions regarding this issue as they are to jump in as soon as anybody mentions helping each other out with replicating some type of intermediate tyre!! THIS POST IS IN NO WAY AIMED AT MR T'S EFFORT'S TO INFORM US OF THIS CALLOUS COMPANY'S DECISIONS ON THEIR BEHALF. regards, (an agitated) scott If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!

This thread was started almost 4 days ago. The subject was raised almost 4 MONTHS ago. I wonder how long before Admin posts an up to date comment?????????? PLEASE DeAg - what's going on? Surely it can't take this long to come up with a fix? At the same rate that it's taking to sort a basic colour issue, developing the entire kit proportionally, must have taken around 30 years! ---- And I'm NOT trying to be aggressive or snotty. I'm just asking for a bit of news. Roy.

My gut feeling about this comment involves pinheads and chisels and does nothing to help resolve the problem it just means if you do not understand it, then kick it!!!!!

Well we will see after another 3 months has passed on and your still harping on about what the fix is.. Theres has been plenty of time to advise us of the meeting they had, but they choose not to share, that's becasue there is no fix, bodge it and move on is the only solution they have come up with so far.
And again we sit and await a reply that will be, just wait and see we are working on a fix LMAO !! just more stalling time till it fades away and people just do there own thing.
