1/12 Lotus type 72D widely known as the "John Player Special" (JPS) Lotus has been re-released.
The kit now includes photo-etched parts, though due to cigarette advertising restrictions, the JPS decals are no longer included although they can be obtained as aftermarket items.

Already got this one. (AND the 1/12 Lotus '78)
An ACE re-release.
The PC brigade are definitely OTT with the decal issue though.
These kits really can't be considered 'toys'. The decals should be complete.
Even 1/43 die-casts of JPS cars come with the 'missing' decals you can apply yourself.
Why can't a kit be the same???
Roy.

This stupid decal business is a farce.
The 'PC' brigade poking its stupid nose in where it isn't even needed in the first place.
What next?
All F1 car books will have sponsor names blotted out in every picture?
Any video clips of older F1 cars/races on the web will be blocked.
Anyone caught downloading such clips/pictures will be arrested and charged with being a Decophile......
Quick!!!! - recall all the 'Senna' DVD's and reclassify them as video nasties - at the very least put a government health warning on the box'
'Smoking this DVD could seriously damage your health'.

AAARRRGGGHHHH......

Roy.
