Hello Andy,
Just a thought here, but if you can't find any commercially produced plans for your Eboat/Schnellboot, then maybe you could just buy one of the plastic kits - I think Airfix do a 1:72 scale model - and using a set of calipers and other measuring tools, take measurements at various points along the hull to give the shape of any ribs or formers and then scale them up to whatever size you want and draw them out yourself? The same could be done with any other parts that you need to replicate. Not sure how daft that sounds or if there is a better way, but it might work if you can't get plans?
All the best,
Bernie

Hi Andy, Models by Design make a 1/24 scale GRP hull and also have a plan set which they may sell separately. Hull: 57.25" Beam: 8.25" http://www.modelsbydesign.co.uk/model_boats.aspx
Battlecraft do some nice fittings.. http://www.battlecrafts.co.uk/
This link might to the sole survivor might useful.. http://www.rovcom.co.uk/s130_ww2_schnellboot.htm
Squadron Signal publications "Warships 18" contains plans and colour plates http://www.prinzeugen.com/Squadron.htm

Hello Andy,
Just been snooping on the internet and I found this E-boat plan. It is at the length you want and self build construction. Thumbnail picture doesn't show exactly what you get in the plans regarding rib/former shapes, etc, but I think there are probably more pages than are shown. Also, it appears to be a 1:32 scale plan which is great as you can buy all sorts of aftermarket stuff at that scale, such as figures, fittings, weapons, etc. I reckon it could be useful to you as it's perfect for scratchbuilding and it's cheap too. Might be worth a punt maybe?:

Also found an interesting website for a build of the Robbe S-130 Schnellboot, might be useful for details?:

and some useful links to other info about German Schnellboots from the same site:

Hope that helps?
All the best,
Bernie.

Very nice Harty,i think il be using the kit route as the resin hull option is more for radio control and i want a static model.although there is some etch in the kit i have sourced some other etch for the kit aswell regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

A very nice build Harty, looks like you have done a superb job there and I love the weathering and worn look. It would look great in a dockside diorama? Well done and thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Bernie.
