Morning all been missing a few weeks but i'm back now...can one of you do me favour and give the measurements of the light area in the rear wing where the flashing reds lights are on the real cars as i've got an idea how to make a flashing light thanks in advance

to be honest im not sure but iv got 1 single pulse flashing led light which will run on 2 AA batterys which im going to slot in at rear of my race stand iv made that looks like a start grid hope that helps

Meffman... Bit confused by what your asking and probably why no one has replied... Do you want the measurements of the real car area or the model? Do you not have the rear wing assembly and floor pan yet? Not sure anyone here can get close enough to the real thing!! If its the model then its 13mm x 10 mm... I used a tape measure, handy little things LOL

I found that 1 red led light should be big as for the real thing warthog and meffman hows this pic from silverstone 2 yr ago god i felt on top of the world

Hi MeffMan

I've managed to find this years technical regulations, the size is not mentioned they only stipulate the location of the light and that it has to be obtained from an FIA approved manufacturer. All the teams probably buy from the same supplier which is why they all look the same. Working with Warthogs measurement the size would be eight times larger making the real thing 104mm x 80mm.

sorry for not explaining what i was after ina more concise way the thing i was after was on the model the rear lens bit where the flashy lights are on the real ones but i got that thanks to warthog.....happy hungrain gp viewing all
