Just remember to use it sparingly otherwise it may oose out..

I have just bought the Glue that Tomick recommended, because my other glue left a white residue. My Question is....will this epoxy glue prevent that, or do ALL glues do this anyway??? Chris

Hi superglues work by the amount of moisture present to go off but part of the reaction in the glue setting is a vapour release that can cause the white marks/residue you have experienced, some other glues also leave this white mark aswell.Epoxys on the other hand are of the catalyst type of glue for example a resin and a hardener which when mixed harden in aproxamatly the time specified ie 5 minutes 30 minutes ect.The reaction is within the resin so no if any leaching of chemicles is present unlike other glues where the leaching is a nesasary part of the glue to set and sometimes cause the white residue you have experienced.As a footnote over application[putting to much on] of superglue ect can also be a major cause the white residue.Hope this helps regards Andy  Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Personally I would steer well clear of using superglue for your Mclaren build unless used where stated, the 'bloom effect' from superglue can ruin what was a fantastic build and model.
Epoxy is fine, just ensure it is sparingly applied so that it does not ooze out in the same manner of any glue used.

Thanks for the advice Mr T......I have the 'Bloom effect' on my exhaust system, but will be painting them chrome anyway and then weathering to give a burnt effect after. No more build until the epoxy arrives Chris
