Dropped one of my binders which was full of Magazines and guess what they dont bounce very well. Ordered a replacement at a cost of £7.99.
That was on the 6th June. All customer services keep saying is they are on back order and I am still waiting. Sorry but when you consider how many of us are involved with this build both in the UK and abroad a simple matter of a replacement binder should NOT take two months.

Come on Deagostini sort it out

Agreed, I'm suffering similar problems dealing with customer service. Ordered a replacement issue 40 at the beginning of August which hadn't arrived by the beginning of September. Chased up, received issue 23 in the post.
Cursing

So contacted them again where they promised issue 40 had been dispatched to me, apologising for the error. It is now mid-October, still no sign of issue 40.
Angry

I am unable to continue my build at this point. I have all the pieces sitting in a drawer in my desk, except for the gallery pieces which I think we can all agree are pretty key to the build.

It is pretty sloppy and I would have cancelled my build if I'd have known how bad it was but I've invested too much money in it.I don't know of any other company that takes your money that day and you can wait upto a month to receive your goods.it will be the last model I purchase via deag it's just too messed up.This forum is a great place to be whilst you are building.

I Agree it is frustrating and my contact with Customer Services was poor, especially after waiting for quite a few minutes in a queue.
But as we live in a tiny village miles from anywhere I shop almost exclusively online. I find this problem is far from unique to DeAgostini and frequently order things that are claimed to be in stock, when it turns out they are not. Recently I have had this problem with an AEG Tumble Dryer which took 14 weeks to arrive, a Bunk Bed which took 8 weeks, a Book for my Wife's Birthday (from Amazon!) which still hasn't arrived 4 weeks after her Birthday. Things are frequently delivered to the wrong address or just never turn up, a memory card I ordered was delivered to somewhere at the opposite end of the country, fortunately it was sent special delivery and I was able to prove that it had been signed for in Dundee and not Dorset. I sold some very valuable goods to someone in California sent them at high cost through the PO's premium trackable Airsure service, they never turned up. It turns out the service is not trackable, I had to wait 6 weeks to claim on the Insurance and the Post Office then tried to claim the items where not as valuable as the price I had received.
Nuff said, it's just the Modern World we live in and long gone are the men in Brown Coats who kept everything in stock in little Wooden drawers.
