Hi,

I live in the Netherlands, and I have not come across a Dutch support forum for the HMS victory (if anyone is aware of such a forum, please let me know).

I am not building the model, my neighbour is building it and there is no customer support in the Netherlands, nor does he use computers, hence I am posting on his behalf.

He is trying to figure out what to do with parts 70, as he has not seen instructions on how to use these pieces.

1.Is this the correct forum to post this question?
2.can anyone provide any feedback to this request (I have searched for (70) but have found nothing in these forums.

Thanks and Regards

Warren (for neighbour Peter)

Warren,
Do you mean with the pieces in issue 70 the metal things like an "accolade"?
That are the "regenafleiders". Mounting these is described a future issue.
You have to keep these parts till you have to use them.

Hi Warren! Cool

You can tell your neighbour Peter that the parts 70 are supplied in issue 41 and they are the large triangular shaped parts there are 6 of them, these go under the gallery sides 3 on each side to build the curved part of the gallery support and need to be shaped to fit close to the hull sections and are fitted in issue 76.

The link to the Official HMS Victory Build Diary by Tomick is below and shows these parts:-

I hope this helps!

@Jan Zwart. Ook U bedankt voor de toelichting , dit heeft my in ieder geval goed geholpen. Mocht ik jullie nogmaals nodig hebben zal ik niet twijfelen jullie te raadplegen op modelbouwforum.nl (Peter)

Hello Warren

For these sort of problems i use the translated guide wich you can find on the dutch Deagostini site.

https://www.deagostini-b.../gtb_montagelogboek.php

It is basicly the same as Tomicks guide but translated to dutch.

If you look at issue 41 you can see the parts 70 are supplied but are not needed yet.

Greetings from Belgium.

Lucien
