PLEASE HELP i am an avid vietnam modeller and those who share my interest realise that most models cover the american side of things. is there any australian kits out there please. i would like to get hold of a model of international harvester f1 the type used in the film the odd angry shot or at least some plans to scratch build. thanks in advance. des

Hi des. I am a member of the newly added Tanks forum and there is a part of the forum for Aussie modellers. BennyBoy is a superb model builder from Oz and he can find the most obscure kits!!! Might be worth looking him up!!! Hope this is of some help.

I haven't seen any models of the International Harvester before , in Aus we called em Acco's ( dunno why lol ) IBG models do a couple of versions of the Canadian Chevy Blitz type trucks in 1/72 which are quite good  In 1/35 scale there are a few kits to choose from The Academy M113 kit has the option of the Aussie version with the T-50 turret  AFV Club does the Aussie Vietnam Centurion  and some modern stuff Trumpeter does the ASLAV  and Showcase Models have just released the Bushmaster  some links that are handy for Aussie AFV modellers Sentinel HomepageANZAC SteelMouse House Enterprises

I purchased one of these about 2 years ago. MkIII International 'ACCO' trucks (based on ARN 170-378) in 1/43rd scale. Although resin, very rare. http://www.mvca.com.au/f...ic.php?f=155&t=2428
