Some may view this as being war grave violation, though it appears to have the support of the Hood Association..

I for one think this. The hood association, The British government and the admiralty should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this vile desecration of the grave of over 1400 brave men.

I can see both sides of the argument on this but personally I think that as long as they do not disturb the the actual ship herself (the bell is apparently away from the main body of ship) then I think it's a good idea. It's already been said that the location of the bell could be under threat from what I call pirates because it's whereabouts are no longer secret. I thinkit would make a fitting memorial and also give the family's of its victims somewhere to grieve.

Once it gets to the museum it will secure the memory's of the fallen. They should never be forgotten

Now it's position is known the bell needs to be safeguarded,it would have been better if they hadn't looked in the first place but what is done is done.I only hope there is no "grandstanding" by Paul Allen when the bell is raised...yes he has loaned the ship etc to do the job but it should be shown to the world in a dignified manner rather than an army of reporters & photographers having him do multiple poses with the bell.
They were brave men "We Shall Remember Them"
Rob Nolli Illigitimi Carborundum!!!
