Fantastic article mate, very well written and well explained, cool examples too!
I thought the suggestion on researching was very important as very few people do that when it comes to the actual models. I would also suggest that people take it easy on the paint chipping and rust afects as these seem to be a new craze that came into effect after the first gulf war in 1991. You can look at pictures of Iraqi tanks and see no end of paint chips and rust, but this is not so pronounced on british and american tanks.
Anyway, excellent article and very well written, may have to keep an eye out for other articles you do!

Thanks Jase for an absorbing tutorial, it is helpfull for finishing a couple of projects I have running at the moment but the tutorial will be usefull for a wide range of models....more please. Dave C H.M.S Victory
