I have just purchased the first part of the Sovereign of the seas from the news shop, this is my first model build.I have discovered the forum, and want to get to no how best to pursue my build. Any advice would be most welcome.

hi and welcome hawk,if you go the line sovereign of the seas builds,mwg has put a list of tools required to build this model,I strongly recommend that you purchase a smaller model, http://www.cornwallmodel...tic_display_models.html
have a look there,and choose something for the beginner,their are many skills you will have to learn,and it is a steep learning curve,you have all the help you need here,also open a free account with photobucket or similar,

hi there, and welcome.

if this is anything like victory, just follow the instructions in the mags, in conjunction with tomicks official build, as sometimes there are a few slight errors in the magazines. do this and you will have a model to be proud of.

of course if you have the skills you can take the model to a different level. just look at my build and sob's marvellous build.

Hi everyone, new to the forum too. Took me awhile to login, kept having error msgs.
This will be my first 'boat' build of this kind and really looking forward to it. I'm in my 40ies and recently made afew 'fantasy' scale models and wanted to try somthing different.
