Hi all, Ive never built a model in my life. I saw this on tele and thought id have a go at it. Im usually pretty good at following instructions but after reading some of the forum starting to get worried.. still gonna have ago tho :) issue 1 arrived today, can anybody tell me the paints i need? I went to the model shop today and brought Tamiya x33 bronze, and xf 9 hull red, are they ok? i also need to get black but didnt realize whilst i was in the shop.

hi mat23dover,welcome to the forum,don't worry 'bout the paint yet,long long time before you need them,the colours you've already bought should do for now,have a look at this link http://forum.model-space...aspx?g=posts&t=4749 it will give you some idea what you need in the way of tools. Thanks Karl, i have a few of them tools allready i guess my tools will grow as i progress.

Welcome to the forum Mat., basically ditto what Karl, Saintsman and Farrarbrass have said. There is lots of help in the forum and dont feel too daunted by what you might see, the guys n gals are a great bunch who are only too happy to assist...
