Hi Andy, I'm sure you'll be able to manage glossing should the need arise. As for decal setting solutions, the use and application is noted in the magazine and has been repeated numerous times in McLaren decal discussions, and the process is also noted in my build diary. Here's a link to the topic.. http://forum.model-space...aspx?g=posts&t=4225
Thankyou Mr T

No problem Andy, I seem to recall that someone also posted up a YouTube clip showing the process but I've not located it yet

Hello Andy,
If you need help with applying decals and using Micro-Sol and Micro-Set then try this:

And this:

Hope that helps?

Hi Andy, i know what it's like trying to learn model building skills. The learning curve can sometimes be pretty steep.I've been model building for 15 years, building cars & planes & i'm constantly learning. It look quite a few models & alot of patience just to feel like i was getting any better at it.Decals are apart of model building that alot of people are abit nervous about. The best thing to do is start with the smaller ones & get confidence moving them around on the model & then try the bigger ones.Just watched the above link & it's all good.I use Revell Decal Softner, it just makes them go on abit easier.Practice makes perfect so keep at it.Stuart.

Come on you Jimmies
