I am at the bargeboard stages of my build and have run upon a little snag. When pressing from the inside of the boards outwards waiting for it to partially harden some of the glue decided to seep out onto the red, Angry its not that noticeable but I know its there and was wondering if anyone else has had problems with their builds in this dept? Huh Some advice would, as always be appreciated thankyou

First of all Robbie don't try to remove any of the glue overspill while its wet.. leave it to dry for a day and then see what can be done... try and attach a picture so we can see what, if any damage has been done then hopefully someone will come to the rescue

Hi Robbie,

If im being honest, from the pictures i don't think it looks that bad! I had a little bit of over spill but wiped it off whilst wet.
Im not a pro but you could try applying a black pen along the glue join which would blacken it and hide it more? But im an amateur so what would everyone elses thoughts be on that?
Also, i am pleased to see i am not the only one who has the problem of the side pot and main cowling not lining up. Anyone else got this problem?
From looking at smaller version of the model i'm hoping this gets covered by the side pod fins??

Thanks
Ian

Hi Robbie

You might be best to wait, I think there is a red decal that goes on the floor where it meets the side pod, so you might be able to position it as to cover any glue.

As Ian says it is not that noticeable, you will see it every time but anyone viewing your model will be so mesmerized by its beauty they will not see any errors. We probably all have several mistakes, I do, either from too much glue or impatienceLOL .

Your right there is a decal that follows along the bottom and should hide this..
