Hi all, As promised a few more pictures of the Companionway's and ropes, the ropes are spun and glued by hand on to 0.50 wire under tension. The Rope I made again by hand from hemp which I brought from my last trip to Chatham Dock where I learnt some of the art of Rope making.I will be also useing more of my own rope as time goes on. Trimming to length. First Post. Second Post. Taking a Measurment. Ropes Fitted. Just needs slight adjustment. Thank you for your time for looking at my post. Regards Trev. A very neat look to a nice alternative approach! Amazing how so many things can be approached differently by different people and they all look good. Steve..

Hello Shipmates, Thank you farrabass,MGW,petpole,Saintsman, and Jonny7England,I do read my return post and take on board what has been said.In this post Steve said about an alternative approach! this is the very reason that my build has taken so long to build I keep looking at things differently. Mike said(Top Job)to me that said it,and thank you. Jonny7England Thanks for your comments Your build again to me Stunning. Saintsman,Class Builder, always welcome thank's for your comments. PetPole.to me top builder, you said about my Rope making this was some thing that I realy want to try again,I know Peter you can buy a Rope making machine for about £30,my point was to try and make it by hand as in the old day's. Another way of doing the rope mod is take a thin peice of wire and wrap the rope around it and flue it at the ends that's the way I'm doing it as I have fat fingers lol
