Hi Bob I am quiet excited about this oneBigGrin how about you?

Regards Mike

as much as i believe it will be a great model, it's a ship i have never taken to, i've seen whatshernames wonderful cardboard build, i've seen scratch builds, but i just don't really like the ship, don't ask me why, maybe it's the decor, which i know is the most important thing about it, but there is something about the sos that does not appeal to me.

however, i may be tempted at a later point, maybe after the cross section.

the one i would like to build is the surprise, but if magpie has problems with the instuctions, as well as everyone else, what hope do i have.
Come on you Jimmies

ISSUE 2 BUILD

Now is the time to prepare the parts, make sure all the loose ash is removed with a file or sandpaper (the parts that we are working on will be shaped more when we come to fair the hull later in the build)emery boards that ladies use to shape their nails are good for getting the ash from the slots:-

I prepare my board lined with plastic (this prevents any glue sticking to the board):-
