1) i subscribed 9th september and received confirmation email 10th september but have recieved no issues yet and none listed as dispatched is this normal ?
2) when i check my subscriptions i appear to have 2 victory subscriptions one ( Build Lord Nelson's Victory) & one ( Build Lord Nelsons Victory) the second listing matches the account number on confirmation email, can any shed any light on this?

Hi,
I have the same duplicates and subscribed around the same time to the Victory as you did, and as of yet no issues, nor any marked as despatched. I guess they must be waiting stock.
Not that answers your question, but your not alone !
Regards
Dave

Exactly the same with me too. I've subscribed to the X-section (Issue 121 onwards) and I've got 2 Subs listed and nothing else. Guess it's just a temporary glitch.

The same here. And, I subscribed within a couple of days of the x-section being announce, no confirmation letter, no issues. Glad I'm not the only one! Tired, Old, and Cranky!

I had to wait 5 weeks before i had my first issues. My issues are sent out on the 7th of each month, and then i receive them about a week later, and it comes up as sent on "My Subscriptions" , so you know they are on the way. Although once it was down as sent on a Friday 7th and i received the issues on the following Monday. . Mal. Mal.

Hi and welcome to the forum, If you subscribed on the 9th, then your parts should be with you any day now. DeAg will tell you that there is normally a period of up 28 days, during which you should receive your order. If you haven't got it after that period of time, then you should approach DeAg again. Happy building David

Same here - confirmed subs on the 10th, told you will have your 1st issues within 14 days. Nothing has arrived yet. I have also ordered the paint and copper tiles. The money has been taken but no delivery yet. They do say this order can take 28 days. Looks like we are all in the same boat....pun intended! HMS Victory, Spitfire, MP 4-23, D51, T72, Honda CB750, Harley Davidson, Hayabusa, Ducatti 1299, E-Type, Mustang and Porsche 911, VW T1 Samba. Many others from other suppliers on the go!

I too had a confirmation email on the 10th and so far nothing received... To add to that, when I go to my subscriptions I find two issues each with different account numbers associated with me... Have contacted Customer Services and as yet no reply received.... Just waiting now to see what finally happens..

I have 4 lines on my account. I think it is one for the paint and tiles I ordered as it has the price of them next to it. I am guessing the other 3 are the first 2 issues and first "free gift". I think you get a line for every issue so that you can see when they are despatched. I hope we all get them soon, I can't wait to get started and I guess you others are the same. HMS Victory, Spitfire, MP 4-23, D51, T72, Honda CB750, Harley Davidson, Hayabusa, Ducatti 1299, E-Type, Mustang and Porsche 911, VW T1 Samba. Many others from other suppliers on the go!

At least you finally received yours. I subscribed on July 30, and have not received a single issue. I even received my confirmation e-mail. It is a Fantastic looking kit, and one I'd love to build. Perhaps the squeaky wheel will get some grease? Mark Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Patience is the name of the game shipmates. On going through the previous forum threads we can see this problem has arisen with DeAg time and time again, but with a little patience everything works out OK DeAg do have their idiosyncrasies, but on the whole they do treat their subscribers very well - at least that's been my experience over the course of this excellent build, and 28 days isn't that long to wait in the scheme of things. I hope you enjoy your experience of this remarkable build. I found the instructions and accompanying photographs of the build second to none and seeing the Victory grow from a skeleton into all her glory has been well worth the 2 years + that I've devoted to it. Keep watching this forum as their are many shipmates on here that are only to glad to share their expertise with you when you hit a snag and there are the odd one or two who have gone to great personal lengths to offer us the chance to build the 'old gal' in a more authentic manner - (see MWG who has sourced many additional parts from other manufacturers for his own build and offered us the chance to do something 'extra' with ours). Anyway, sorry for rabbiting on, Happy building David P.S. Don't forget to tune in to Tomick's official build diary for lots of help with your build.

Were that it was only 28 days! It has actually been 56 as of today. That said, they were EXTREMELY helpful when I screwed up some Zero parts, and I actually had to send a bunch of parts back as they took a little TOO good care of me! It would be nice to get the cross section going though. I DO seem to have fallen through the cracks on this one though. Mark Tired, Old, and Cranky!

wow a clutch of new builders - welcom one and all. Building wooden model ships takes patiance you will have to apply that to Deag at times too but you will find that customer service are excellent at sorting issues. looking forward to the new build diarys' Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Good point Jase. Perhaps DeAg are subtly training us to achieve a Zen state, before Planking and Rigging. I think I tied about 2500 tiny knots on the Endeavour, no room for frustration or impatience there.

Got the copper tiles today. Just paint and a ship to wait for now! I once half completed (had to sell it before completion) the Panart HMS Victory so I have done the tiling before...needed some time off sick from work to get me going on it though Have PM'd you Jase, regarding detail pics. To my fellow new builders... once we get going on this we may wish that some parts took more time to arrive to give us a chance to get the last lot completed! Also, use the time to browse the forum. There is bags of useful info and tips galore to wet the appetite. We are lucky to have early builders who have got errors corrected and all sorts of problems solved. HMS Victory, Spitfire, MP 4-23, D51, T72, Honda CB750, Harley Davidson, Hayabusa, Ducatti 1299, E-Type, Mustang and Porsche 911, VW T1 Samba. Many others from other suppliers on the go!

Hi, Phoned up Customer Services today as it is now over 14 days since I received the Email saying my 1st 2 Issues of the X-Section would be with me, within 14 days. That was a total waste of time, was told that they where out of stock (despite the web site saying 'In Stock') and that she had absolutely no idea when they might be in stock. It's not that I'm desperate, but it would be nice to have been given some idea, a week, a month....? She could offer no explanation of the 2 Accounts either. After 5 minutes in a holding queue too. A very unhelpful customer help line.

Hi Karl, I tried to press them on the point of roughly how long was it likely to be and got totally blanked, I run my own business and regularly chase up deliveries/orders and I've never had a 'no idea' before. If you go to the shop all these issues are listed as 'in stock', which is lamentably not true.
