ISSUE 3 BUILD Hi Team here we are at week three (how time flies) I am keeping it simple once again so all the new members pick up more and more of the build process,(some one said repeatition is the mother of all learning!!!! or--maybe I have just made that up  anyway I think it works. ISSUE 3 BUILD I am only going to use parts 7, 7a, 7b and 11 x 2. ISSUE 3 BUILD A good idea to keep your parts flat untill you start building the keel, beg steal or borrow a couple of large tiles (the edges are rounded so will not cut your hands) place the parts on the decorative side of the tile, then place the other tile decorative side down and store under the bed or similar. Hi Mike, excellent posts as usual, it's all appreciated. I too would like to pack out the hull with balsa as I think this will aid in the shaping process prior to tackling the planking as well as giving the hull extra strength. Can I ask however, will you be giving us Newbies an idea as to the amount and size of balsa wood we will need to order to do the job and do you know of a place online where it can be ordered....
Now about to tackle issue 3... thanks again...
